We’ve been to the restaurant a handful of times already and usually it’s good with food being delivered quickly. However we went recently on the weekend and had to wait almost 30-40 minutes for one lunch dish (cabbage fish) and there were minimal bean sprouts in the dish! A bit disappointing. Hopefully it is just a once off… happy to give them another go, but if the quality continues to head downhill will probably stop going all together.

Been meaning to try this joint for a while and it didn't disappoint. Food was tasty, servings were huge so great value for money and the 1 chilli levels were good for me. Wasn't game enough to try the 2 chilli level. Food came out super quick although this was probs bc we were only the 3rd group there at the time.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Box Hill, if not Melbourne. The food is great and tasty, and some dishes are quite spicy, so ask them to make it to your own taste. I particularly liked their Prawn dish, and with plain steamed rice it was just perfect. Always happy to visit again. Thank you.

Food is good and authentic, real spicy and hot. Easy access and parking in the heart of Boxhill. Staff are nice and efficient. Only the small abalone and pipi could be improved more fresh.

Actually, we really like the taste of this place, but the service is quite concerning. The first time, they only gave us plates but no bowls. After several reminders, we were told to get the bowls ourselves. The second time, we asked where the water was, and the staff told us there was none — even though it was obvious that the table next to us had water. Aside from that, the food tastes great and the prices are very affordable. We’ll still come back again.

Great food and portion sizes are massive for the price. Fish fillet and pickled cabbage, braised pork belly, fried pumpkin pancake that had red bean inside, and a small bowl of rice. $71.28

One of rare nicer Chinese restaurants, nice service, food and price. Lots of chili, but little to no MSG detected. And no BS holiday surcharge. Update 17.01.2022, today dish is full of msg, mild migraine from consuming too much msg, lowered rating from 5 star to 4 star.

Fresh, tasty, excellent sichuan food. We ordered the cumin lamb and spicy beef noodle soup. Generous serving sizes and delicious food. The lunch is especially good value. Will return to try more.
